McCreary, Donna Lee “Doots” born September 29, 1920 in Silsbee, Texas and passed away July 7, 2015 in Dallas, Texas. Preceded in death by Parents: Modena & Edgar Harrington; Husband: Charles “Mac” McCreary; Brother: Robert Earl Harrington; Sisters: Laverne Huffhines and Evla Mae Bragg. Survived by Daughters: June Haffner Gunn, Janet McCreary Stephens, Shelly McCreary Davis; Grandchildren: Laura and husband Robert Graham, James Gunn, T.J. Stephens, Rivers Kalakay and partner Johnny Gilbertson; Great grandchildren: Victoria Graham Tanner, Elizabeth and Caroline Graham, Conner Gilbertson; one Brother A.J. Harrington and nieces and nephews. Donna was a long time member of Royal Haven Baptist Church and then Grandview Baptist Church when she moved to Mesquite. She was also a member of Col. George Mason, D.A.R., the former Parnassus Book Club, the Hilltopper & 3 Score and More church groups. Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 9, 2015 from 5:00PM – 7:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, July 10, 2015 at 12:30PM at The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Salvation Army or Texas Baptist Men – Disaster Relief Fund or charity of your choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
