Mrs. Donna Marie Franks' Obituary
At 58, Donna passed away peacefully on April 20, 2009. She was born in Columbus, Mississippi, but lived most of her life in the Dallas Metroplex. Donna’s life was fulfilled in her family. She and her husband Jim enjoyed being involved with their son Jeff’s numerous activities and gatherings with extended family. Donna was employed with Western Electric for 13 years before dedicating her life completely to her family. She was preceded in death by her father, Carl Milton Roberts. She was survived by her husband of 39 years, James E. Franks Jr., her son Jeffrey Scott Franks of Mesquite, her mother Kathleen Roberts of Dallas, sister and brother in law Linda and Jeff Warren of Rockwall, nieces Priscilla Warren of Houston, Katelyn Morris of Rockwall and lifetime friend Wanda Bowman of Dallas. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday April 23rd from 6 to 8 pm at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Road, Dallas, TX. The service is scheduled for Friday, April 24th at 12:30 pm in the Memorial Chapel at Restland. Interment following service.
