Donna Jean Hewitt Rochon's Obituary
In Loving Memory of Donna Jean Hewitt Rochon
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Donna, beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, who slipped away peacefully on July 10, 2024, at the age of 68. She leaves behind a legacy of love, joy, and devotion that touched the hearts of all who knew
Donna was the cherished wife of John for 51 beautiful years. Together, they built a life filled with laughter, adventure, and unwavering companionship. Donna was not only the joy of John's life but also the entire focus of his life's work. Their bond was a testament to true love, and their partnership an inspiration to all.
As a mother, Donna was nurturing, compassionate, and endlessly supportive. She raised three children with grace and wisdom, instilling in them the values of kindness, integrity, and perseverance. Her children were her pride and joy, and her love for them knew no bounds. Heidi, John jr. (Rebecca) and Lauren (Jeff).
As a grandmother, Donna brought boundless joy and warmth to her grandchildren. She was their storyteller, their confidante, and their biggest cheerleader. Her presence in their lives was a constant source of love and comfort. Her grandchildren are John Ill, Ben, Caroline, Brianna, and Makenna.
Donna was a woman of remarkable strength and character. She faced life's many challenges with prayer, courage and resilience, always putting her family first. Her kindness and generosity knew no limits, and she touched the lives of many with her gentle spirit and selfless heart.
Beyond her role as a dedicated wife and mother, Donna was a friend to many, known for her beautiful smile, humor and welcoming nature. She created a home that was a haven of love and hospitality, where all who entered felt valued and cared for.
Her legacy will live on in the hearts of her beloved husband, John, her children, her grandchildren, and all who were fortunate to know her. Though she is no longer with us in body, her spirit will forever be a guiding light in our lives.
A celebration of Donna's life will be held on a date to be announced. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Future Vision Ministries in her memory. https://fvm.on.ca/
