With heavy hearts, we share the sudden and heartbreaking loss of Donna Kim, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 43. Born on July 25, 1981, Donna filled every moment of her life with love, laughter, and an unshakable dedication to her family, friends, and community.
Donna was the cherished wife of Sam Kim, her partner in life since they began dating in 2002 and married in 2014. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, humor, and a deep bond rooted in mutual respect and love. As parents to their son, Knox, Donna poured her heart into creating a nurturing and joyful environment, guiding him with her endless love, wisdom, and care. The values she instilled in Knox will forever reflect the beautiful person she was.
Donna is lovingly remembered by her parents, Bounmak and Phiane Sithivong, who raised her with love and encouragement; her siblings, Vill Sithivong and spouse Jim Huang, and Nikki Terry and husband Adam, who shared countless treasured memories with her; and her nieces and nephews, Emily T, Johnathan D, Gavin T, Emily M, and Kiera, who brought her endless joy.
She also leaves behind her in-laws, the Mai family, whose lives she enriched with her kindness and love.
To her friends, Donna was a constant source of light and support—always ready to listen, offer a kind word, or extend a helping hand. Her laughter, generosity, and genuine kindness left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know her.
Donna’s sudden passing leaves an unimaginable void in the lives of those who loved her, but her memory remains a beacon of strength, love, and inspiration. As we grieve, we also celebrate the remarkable life she lived and the countless lives she touched.
