MELVIN, DONNA JADE was born January 15, 1933 in Hengyang, Hunan, China and passed away January 31, 2014 in Richardson, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents and one sister. Survived by husband, Ellis L. Melvin; daughters, Lily Chen-Buynak, Shali Payette; son, Richard Chen; 2 sisters, 1 brother, 5 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at 10:00 AM on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Restland Wildwood Chapel. Burial will be at DFW National Cemetery at 1:30 PM following the service.
