Dora Rendon's Obituary
Dora Rendon, 73, of Robstown, TX was born in Brown City, MI to Manuel Rendon and Virginia V. Vittonet. She passed away peacefully on February 7th.
She is remembered by anyone who knew her as being friendly and loving. In her career, she was, first, a teacher and then a school counselor in the Robstown Independent School District for thirty-five years from 1972 to her retirement in 2007. She touched and influenced many lives through her professional career and her personal life. She is also remembered for her love of shopping, jewelry, sewing and talking to her friends and family. Her other hobbies included reading novels from James Patterson and other mystery authors. In addition, she loved to watch the Hallmark channels. Her favorites were mystery and Christmas movies. She was a member of El Redentor United Methodist Church for many years in Robstown, TX. She spent the last few years living in Plano, TX and became a member of Agape Memorial United Methodist Church in Dallas, TX.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Virginia and her brother, Rene Rendon Sr.
She is survived by her brother Victor Rendon (Yasuyo wife), nephews Rene Rendon Jr. (Beatrice wife), Victor Manuel Rendon, and Daniel Paul Rendon. She is also survived by her great nieces, Ella Grace Magampon Rendon and Stephanie Renee Rendon (Chase) and great nephew, Edward Victor Rendon (Carina). She is also survived by many cherished cousins and close family friends.
