Dorina Angela Luyando, born on June 1, 1929, in Peru, passed away on February 24, 2024, in Dallas, Texas. She was the beloved daughter of Julio Ortega and Leonor Robles. Dorina relocated to Mesquite, Texas, where she established her family and touched the lives of many.
Preceded in death by her husband, Dorina leaves behind a legacy cherished by her two daughters, Maggie Aguilar and Jerico Fegale. She was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother, finding immense joy in their company.
Dorina was a self-employed individual whose passion for gardening was matched only by her sense of humor and boundless compassion. Her warmth and caring nature endeared her to all who knew her.
A memorial service to honor and celebrate Dorina's life will be held at the Dallas Spanish East SDA Church, located at 7200 Military Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75227, on March 3, 2024, at 6:15 pm. In the hearts of those she touched, Dorina's memory will forever live on.
