Doris Evon Bennett's Obituary
Doris Evon Bennett, 88, passed away June 10, 2020 in Rowlett, TX. She was born August 18, 1931 to parents Cecil and Hazel Pierce in Bernie, MO. She married Oscar on January 3, 1953 in Rockwall, TX. She was a Switch Board Operator(PBX). She was a member of Calvary Hill Baptist- attended First Baptist of Rowlett.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband: Oscar; and siblings: Helen Meadows, Dale Pierce, Raymond Pierce and her great granddaughter Stella.
She is survived by daughters Teri Harris ( husband David), Linda Bennett; son Ted Bennett; sisters Ida Lee Corn, Velta Busalache; four grandchildren Greg Harris(wife Amie), Sara Brewer(husband Austen), Cody Crow(wife Kaylan), Cortney Fielder(husband Jame); ten great grandchildren Hailee, Hayde, Hazel, Reese, Ethan Saylee, Sage, Slate and Beckett.
Visitation will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 4:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. A Service will be held Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at 5:00 PM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Private Burial will be held at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery
