Doris Claire Campbell's Obituary
Doris Claire Campbell, age 82, of Rowlett, Texas passed away on Tuesday, December 5, 2023. She was born on August 17,1941 to the late Fred and Doris Dench in Greenford, Middlesex, England. Doris was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend.
Doris married the love of her life Colin on August 13, 1966, in Brentford, Middlesex, England and after four months of marriage they move to Dallas, Texas where they spent the next 57 wonderful years in Dallas and 27 years in Rowlett together. Doris spent her career as a librarian for many law firms in the Dallas area, however the most joyful time of her career was being the librarian for the schools her children attended. In her spare time, she enjoyed crocheting elaborate dresses for barbies and had won many contests for her beautiful work.
She is survived by her husband, Colin Campbell; son, Craig Campbell of Burleson, Texas; Sharo Mitchell of Rowlett, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley Jones, David Mithcell; sister Jean and nieces Julie and Jane.
