Doris Fay Cook's Obituary
COOK, DORIS FAY On Sunday May 25th, 2014 Doris Fay Cook of Plano, Texas surrendered her long battle with cancer, she passed away at home. She was 88 years young. Doris was born April 10, 1926, in Dallas, TX and raised in Irving, TX and settled in Garland with her husband of 25 years William Dwight Cook. Her passions were gardening and reading, she was a master at knitting, crocheting, and loved lunches with her daughter, Patty. Doris Cook is survived by her daughter, Patricia Lynn Judd and husband, John Judd; granddaughter, Beverly Renee Cook-Hamilton and husband, Ronald; great grandchildren, Reagan and Riley Hamilton, Janice Judd, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ausburn and Mary Allen; husband, William Dwight Cook; 1 sister; 5 brothers. Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM Wednesday May 28, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be held Thursday, May 29, 2014 at 1:00 PM at Restland Memorial Park.
