We are sad to announce the loss of our beloved mother, Doris Lorita Forney Cusic of 91 years, on Tuesday, May 30th, 2023. Doris passed away at her home in Dallas surrounded by her loved ones. She was born in Wichita, Kansas to Jam Read Obituary
I thoroughly enjoyed sharing a memorable high tea with Doris and Cindy at Queen Mary's Tea Room. Doris embodied graciousness and we had a great time. We are very grateful for the wonderful family that Doris made, filled with her kindness and warmth. They have become our family.

Sweet Aunt Doris!! You will be greatly missed by many!! You have been a terrific inspiration to me! Always kind, generous, caring and humble! I loved visiting Aunt Doris as she welcomed me with open arms and warm cookies😊 no matter how late we seemed to arrive. Her home has many fond memories for me and my family too.
I’ll always remember the swing on the front porch, walking on the flower box wall( when I felt brave), exploring the yard around her home, a large dinner table surrounded by family as we indulged in home made meals, and of course Christmas gatherings!!
I have been blessed with several encouraging and inspirational women in my life, Aunt Doris is at the Top!! ❤️🤟🙏
