Born on October 10, 1921 in Dallas, Texas and died on February 2, 2008 in Canton, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband of 16 years, W. Murray Galipp; parents, Thomas Jefferson Lewis Sr., Sarah Elizabeth Rowland Lewis; twin sister, Dorothy Lewis, sisters, Margaret Lewis, Louise Porter and husband Lee; brothers, T.J. Lewis Jr., Wilbur L. Lewis and wife Inez; and great nephew, Jeffrey Copeland. Survived by nieces and nephews; Linda and Buddy Dykes and Donna Backest of Canton; nephews, Dean and Jane Porter of Kerrville, Lewis and Sandi Porter of Austin; step daughter, Kris Galipp; 2 step grand children of Oregon; 14 great nieces and nephews and numerous great great nieces and nephews and cousins. Graveside service will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Restland Funeral Home, officiated by Bart Reddoch.
