Doris Elaine Partain Hamill's Obituary
Doris Elaine Partain Hamill, a loving wife, devoted mother, cherished grandmother, and adored great-grandmother, passed away peacefully at her residence on Friday, December 22, 2023, at the age of 77, following a courageous battle with cancer.
Doris came into this world on July 5, 1946, in Tyler, Texas born to Lawrence and Vera Partain. Her upbringing was in Dallas. Texas where she shared her childhood with three siblings: Kenneth Partain, Janie Partain Turner, and her twin brother, Donald Partain.
Surviving her is her husband of 57 years , Loyd Hamill, her son, Loyd Hamill Jr. affectionately known as "Little Loyd," her granddaughters, Whitney Hamill and Chloe Adames, as well as her great-grandchildren, Jayleen Rocha, Roberto Rocha, and Augustine Roman. She is also fondly remembered by numerous cherished relatives, cousins, and dear friends who will forever treasure her memory. She was preceded in death by her siblings, Kenneth, Janie, and Donald.
She will also be commemorated through her departure to reunite with her cherished daughter, Pamela Hamill, who sadly lost her battle with cancer in 2020.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday December 28, 2023 at 3:00 pm at Restland Wildwood Chapel. In lieu of floral tributes, the family kindly requests that plants be sent in remembrance.
