Doris Hampton's Obituary
Doris Hampton was born in Dallas, Texas on March 11, 1935, Doris Mae Post Hampton passed away on March 18, 2015 as she took her last peaceful breath. She is survived by her three daughters, Susan Denise Hampton Hartsoe of Garland, TX, Ginny Dale Hampton Pinegar of Mesquite, TX , Jane Ann Hampton Pearson of Mesquite, TX and husband, Richard Pearson, and her sister, Mollie Nell Teichman of Garland, TX; 6-grandchildren: Tiffany Dawn Pinegar and spouse, Kevin, Gary Lee Ingram and spouse, Ashley, Melanie Maxine Hampton, Stephanie Renee Ingram, John Ryan Hampton and spouse, Lauren and Amy Suzanne Hartsoe Alsop and spouse, Brandon; 9-great-grandchildren: Sisters, Makayla and Emma, Sisters Dakota and Kenley, sister and brother, Ryann Morgan and Mason, Hunter, and brothers, Jackson and John Allen III. Doris is preceded in death by her son, John Allen Hampton of East Tawokini, TX; her father, Earl George Post of Canton, TX and her mother, Verda Jane Boatright Graham of Dallas, TX. A graduate of Adamson High School in Dallas she went on to attend Executive Secretarial School which lead her to a long career as an Executive Secretary in many industries including Transportation and Sales. Doris is known for her strength to keep her family together through many years of change and adversity, her wonderful sense of humor always bringing a smile to everyone she met and her strong belief and faith in our Lord Jesus. Our family would like to give a special thank you to all the staff of Mesquite Tree Nursing Home who took care and loved our beloved mother. The visitation for Doris Hampton will be from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM Sunday, March 22, 2015 at Restland Funeral Home. The service for Doris will be held on Monday, March 23, 2015 at 10:00 AM in The Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
