Doris N. "Honey" Hutchison's Obituary
Doris “Honey” Hutchison, 86, of Denison, Texas, was born on December 2, 1936, in Rockwall, Texas to Edgar and Dorothy McDonald. She passed away on October 9, 2023, in Denison.
Doris married Fletcher Hutchison on September 4, 1954, in Dallas, Texas.
Doris worked for SweetHeart Company for twenty-five years. She had a positive attitude and a sweet demeanor. Doris loved to dance in her younger years and was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan.
Doris is lovingly remembered as a beloved wife of forty-nine years, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
She is preceded in death by: her husband, Fletcher; her brother, Glen McDonald; and her parents.
Doris is survived by: her son Dennis and daughter-in-law Rose Hutchison; her daughter Dianne and son-in-law Joe Parham; her grandchildren Angie and husband Roy Reed as well as Erin and husband Mark Markovic; and great-grandchildren Brittany, Trevor, Shelby, Andrew, Leyla and Brielle.
Family will receive friends between 5:00PM-7:00PM on Sunday, October 15, 2023, at Restland Funeral Home.
Funeral services will commence at 2:00 PM on Monday, October 16, 2023 in the Wildwood Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Interment in the Restland Memorial Park will follow the service.
