LAMBERT, DORIS JUNE was born June 28, 1925 in Paris, Texas and passed away July 9, 2013 in Richardson, Texas. Preceded in death by her parents, Elisha and Julia Grant; sisters, Ruth Bills, Florence Johnson; and brothers, Henry Grand, Edward Grant. Doris is survived by son, Edward D. Lambert, Jr.; siblings, Ethel Rawlins, Charlie Grant, Carlton Grant; grandchildren, Quentin Gregory, Kevin Raynad Smith, Richard D. Lambert, Edward D. Lambert III, LeJames D. Spencer; great grandchildren, Richard Lambert, Jr., Christopher Lambert, Raven Lambert, Spencer Lambert, Sydney Davis; and 1 great great grandchild. Doris enjoyed cooking for family and friends, was a former cafeteria manager for a high school in the Richardson ISD and was a member of the Greater Cornerstone Baptist Church. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, July 12, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Restland Memorial Chapel.
