Dear Marcy and Randy, I send my heartfelt sympathy to you and your family during this difficult time. The Barton family is so grateful for the friendship that your mom and our mom had. We loved knowing that they were going to dinner together, going to the movie theatre, visiting each other at one of their homes, sharing family updates with each other or simply just checking in via a telephone call to see how each other was doing. They were both such independent ladies who modeled how to do life graciously even when it handed you very difficult times. We are so glad that our moms were neighbors and most importantly, sweet friends. May you find comfort and peace in the memories you hold in your heart. Mike and I have so many fond memories of our dear friend and neighbor prior to the time we moved from Dallas in the spring of 2018. We spent quite a few happy hours with Ann, and at times, her friend and neighbor Pat, joined us as well. We sipped wine, talked about current events, talked about our travels, told stories, and shared memories. We always cherished the time we spent with Ann and will always carry her in our hearts.
