Doris “Bonnie” Yvonne Mallette, aged 85, passed away peacefully on October 8th, 2024, in Sachse, Texas. Born on May 24th, 1939, in Peoria, Illinois, to Lyle and Ruth Tilton, Bonnie lived a life full of love and adventure.
Bonnie cherished her family deeply and found immense joy in spending time with them. Her love for travel and specifically cruises took her to many wonderful places, creating cherished memories along the way. Her warmth, kindness, and adventurous spirit will be remembered by all who knew her.
Bonnie had a long and successful career as a business owner. As a manufacturer’s representative, she founded her own company, Southwest Mechanical Parts, and grew it into a flourishing business. Bonnie embodied the entrepreneurial spirit
Bonnie is preceded in death by her parents, and her loving daughter, Julie Tomlinson.
She is survived by her faithful husband of 32 years, Charles Assevero; her son-in-law, Rodney Tomlinson; and her grandson, Ryan Tomlinson.
She leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories. Bonnie will be dearly missed by her family, friends, and all who had the pleasure of knowing her.
