Doris Millet Goss' Obituary
Doris Millet Goss was born December 6, 1931, the daughter of William Lyle and Stella Wingert Millet and was called home on August 15, 2017 in Dallas, TX. Always active in whatever church was in, she was an accomplished pianist and played for many years and was also a leader and teacher. Doris graduated from Wheaton College with a degree in journalism where she was assistant editor of Wheaton College Kodon. She was the editor of the Trinity Insurance employee newsletter. Doris also served as yearbook advisor for Calvary Bible College and Philadelphia College of the Bible (now Cairn University). Doris was married to Glenn R. Goss for 53 years. From that union came two sons, Stephen and Michael; eight grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Doris was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn and grandson, David. Family will receive friends on Thursday August 24, 2017 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Ave, Dallas, TX 75243. Services will be held on Friday August 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Scofield Memorial Church, 7730 Abrams Rd, Dallas, TX 75231. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Scofield Memorial Church.
