Doris Reimann's Obituary
REIMANN, DORIS ELIZABETH formerly of Austin, Texas, died peacefully on December 13, 2006, in Dallas, where she had resided for four years. She was born on June 16, 1921 in Madison, Wisconsin, and was preceded in death by her husband of more than 57 years, Curt W. Reimann, retired Executive Director of the American Cancer Society, Texas Division. She was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin Foundation. Doris was an active alumna member of Delta Delta Delta sorority in Austin, and had received her fifty year pin. She was also a dedicated member of The Garden Club of Austin, having served in many leadership positions. She is survived by her daughter, Jan Reimann Newsom and husband Neil of Dallas; daughter Terry Reimann Finkelstein and husband Robert of Woodland Hills, California; son, Kent Reimann and wife Melanie of Richardson, Texas; granddaughters, Kelly Newsom, Loren Newsom, Karen Finkelstein, Julie Finkelstein, and Sharon Reimann; and grandson, Russell Reimann. The family will hold a private memorial service.
