Doris P. Stamps-Herring, 94, born May 26, 1922 in Dallas, Texas, passed away Saturday January 21, 2017 in Dallas, Texas. Doris is preceded in death by her mother Viola Pauline Grimes-Franklin, father Thomas J. Franklin, daughter Sandra Robinson, two brothers; Donald R. Franklin and TJ Franklin, husbands; Oscar L. Stamps and ML Herring. Doris is survived by four grandchildren; Michelle Simpson, Robby Robinson, Danny Robinson and Brandy Cervantes, five great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, sister Ann McFarland and nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 24, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside service will be in section J on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Restland Memorial Park. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
