Dorothea Ann Allison's Obituary
ALLISON, DOROTHEA ANN MILLER died May 30, 2011, in Richardson, Texas. She was born May 30, 1928 in Ashford, Alabama to Lester and Vera Miller. She graduated from Ashford High School. She married Donald W. Allison, of St. Louis, Missouri, on October 9, 1948. She married Joseph Stanton of Niceville, FL on April 25, 2000. She is survived by her husband; children Farris Allison (and wife Jeanette), David Allison, and Donald Allison (and wife Dora); her grandchildren Nikki and Jacob Nicol, Ashley Mortensen, Kyle and Crystal Allison, and Jackie Allison; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her first husband, her parents, and her daughter Sandra Lee Pyles. Mrs. Allison was a longtime resident of Richardson, where she served as Worthy Matron of the Eastern Star chapter. She was a founding member of The Colony Eastern Star chapter. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the The Colony Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, June 2, at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, June 3 at 10 a.m. at Restland’s Wildwood Chapel, with interment in Restland Memorial Park.
