Mrs. Dorothy “Dot” Ann Agnew, 77, passed away peacefully after a brief illness on Thursday, April 11, 2019, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on Friday, May 16, 1941, to her loving and thoughtful parents, Weldon Andrews McDonald and Alma Jo Cunningham. Dorothy Ann Agnew will be sincerely missed by her loving family, her devoted friends and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved her.Dot is preceded in death by her mother and father, sisters: Doris Mahaffy, Norma Brummett and Martha Thompson. She is survived by husband Gary Agnew, nephew Brian Thompson, brother Weldon McDonald and wife Betty, and lifetime friend, Linda McMillion. Brother-in-law Don Agnew and wife Joyce, sister-in-law Judy Baker and husband Charlie. Numerous nieces and nephews.Dot spent many years working in the family business Texas Contractor and loved a good game of “42” and traveling the world.She will be greatly missed for her wit, charm and love for her family.Mrs. Dorothy Ann Agnew memorial service will be held Thursday, April 25, 2019 at 2:30 PM at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, Texas 75243 in the Abby Chapel.
