Dorothy Frances Alsup was born on February 10, 1925 Clarksville, Texas and passed away on September 29, 2014 in Dallas, Texas. She was the youngest of seven children and is preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter. Dorothy Frances married Jack Alsup on December 1, 1946 and they were longtime residents of Garland, Texas. She was a charter member of Axe Memorial United Methodist Church. Dorothy Frances was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She will be missed and remembered by her husband, Jack Alsup; daughters, Pam Blackmore, Suzanne Thomas and husband, Jacky, and Gayla Denton; four grandchildren, Dean, Deanna, Erin and Matt; and great-grand daughter, Kenzie. The visitation for Dorothy Frances will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 1, 2014 at Restland Funeral Home. The funeral service for Dorothy Frances will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday, October 2, 2014 at Axe Memorial United Methodist Church. The interment of Dorothy Frances will be at Restland Memorial Park following the service. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75238.
