Dorothy E. Callis' Obituary
Dorothy Eyambe Callis, aged 59, passed away on Tuesday, June 30th 2020 at the Richardson Methodist Health Center after a brief illness. A Cameroonian by birth, and a Nurse by profession, Dorothy was the Founder and CEO of Reliant First Health Care Service in Richardson, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents; Oscar Mbella Njoh, Francisca Mayang Mboh Mokom and her brother Professor George Sona Eyambe. Dorothy is survived by her son Dieudonne Somo, her partner Innocent Umelo, five siblings- William Eyambe and Thomas Eyambe of Cameroon, Harriet Eyambe Chu of Georgia, Angela Dibande Woode of Switzerland and John Ngu Mokom of Cote D’Ivoire. Brothers and sisters in- law: George Woode, Betty Eyambe, Esther Mbene Eyambe, and Felicitas Mokom. Nephews in-law: Rene Takang, Enow Affuembey and Lawrence Doh. 20 nieces and nephews- Sarah Nsume Doh, Linda, Elsie Musango, Efeti, Lydia, Fese, Mayang, Joseph, Victor, Franklin, George, and Mboh Eyambe; Etem Tabogho Takang, Maloa Affuembey and Tabi Chu, Frederic Bopandani, Mayang, Dibande, Atabong and Kodjo Mokom. 5 grand nephews and a grandniece- Harriet-Grace and Josiah Takang, Achuo, Sona & Bisong Affuembey and Michael Doh. Visitation will be held on Friday, August 7th from 10am-5pm at the Rest Land Funeral Home, Richardson, TX. A Requiem Mass will be held at the St Joseph Catholic Church, Richardson on Saturday August 8th at 9:30 a.m. A private burial will follow the church service at the Restland Cemetery in Richardson.
