Dorothy Lou Cloud's Obituary
Dorothy Lou Cloud, age 85, went to be with her Lord Jesus, Monday, August 2, 2021. She was born September 13, 1935 to Irene Edwards in Scipio Township, Oklahoma. She was raised by her grandmother, Lenora Edwards in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
While Dorothy had a successful career in banking, her most proud accomplishment was being a wife and mother to her three children. Later in life she took pride in being a grandmother to her five grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Her hobbies included sewing, playing bridge, bowling, and hosting family gatherings.
Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wayne Cloud, as well as her mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters: Lou An Moore and husband, Rick, of Allen; Susie Dillon of Lewisville; Raneta Ansley and husband, Mike, of Coppell; grandchildren:
Richard Moore and wife, Katie, of Temple; Jen Woods and husband, Mitch, of Fulshear; Dan Dillon and wife, Samantha, of Lewisville; Brooke Apple and husband, Michael, of Lewisville; Austin Ansley and wife, Erin, of Coppell; and great-grandchildren: Afton, Charis, Adeline, and Cambrie Moore of Temple; Colton, Cason, and Cooper Woods of Fulshear; Carson and Landry Apple of Lewisville; and Keller Ansley of Coppell.
Her service will be held on Friday, August 13, 2021, at 10:00 AM at Restland Funeral Home, 13005 Greenville Avenue Dallas, Texas in The Memorial Chapel. The graveside service will be immediately following the service across the street in the Garden of Memories, south of Restland Road.
