Dorothy Dickinson's Obituary
Dickinson, Dorothy “Dottie” (Bannister) Age 81, passed away peacefully at home in Carrollton, Texas on December 7, 2008. Born October 22, 1927 in Blackpool England. She married James “Jim, Red” Leon Dickinson on July 21, 1945 in England, migrated to the United States in 1946 where they spent the next 64 years together. She is survived by her husband, James Dickinson, two daughters, Betty Haney and Sandra Dickinson, granddaughter Heather Pedroncelli and husband Joseph, great grandchildren Abigail and Gianni, sister Joyce Gillette, sister-in-law and brother-in-law Jack and Marie Beezley, nephews Mike Beezley and wife Trisha, Bill Beezley and wife Winnie, niece Maureen Birch and husband Steve and her beloved cats: Whiskers, Blackie, Sammy and Milo. She is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Minnie Bannister, and sister Barbara Taylor. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. December 9, 2008, at Restland Funeral Home. Graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m., December 10, 2008 with family and friends followed with a celebration of her life at 1:00 p.m. at their home in Carrollton, Texas.
