To the family of Dot, I was having a conversation with my brother,(Blake) tonight and we were talking about Dot and Roy, my dad's neighbors in Dallas. I haven't seen either of them in years but when I was a teenager I lived next door to Roy and Dot. I lived with my dad, Don Witte for a summer after my senior year in high school. I looked Dot up on the Internet tonight and was heartbroken to learn that our Dotty was gone. She was so proud of her beautiful orchids, I was always fining her in her greenhouse. I found my only cat (Bosley) under their car in their garage. Dotty and I laughed hysterically because his meow was so loud. She mothered me when I didn't have a mother nearby and taught me to be a lady. She told me how Dallas had changed over her time in the area. She told me stories about being a military wife and mother. She had a wonderful laugh and I loved her so much! She looked out for me and I never got to tell her how much I appreciated her. She was a wonderful woman who I will never forget and I am so sorry for Roy and Dotty's family and the incredible loss for this family. God Bless, with loving memories, Heidi Witte 1.31.12
