Dorothy Eudean Fidler's Obituary
FIDLER, DOROTHY EUDEAN 80, passed away on December 4, 2013, after a prolonged illness. A native of Oklahoma, she married her husband, Charles (Chuck), in 1953. She accompanied him throughout his career in the oil industry, living in Texas, Louisiana, California, and Canada before retiring in Texas. She was a devoted wife and mother, an accomplished landscape artist, and had a life-long passion for – opera and world travel. She was committed to her Christian faith and enjoyed church activities, especially volunteering as an ESL teacher for international students. Survived by husband Charles; daughters, Jennifer and husband Mark Carter and Karen Fidler; grandson, Andrew Carter, and brother Jesse Bird. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM, Monday, December 9, 2013 at Restland Funeral Home. Memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, December 10, 2013 at First Baptist Church of Richardson.
