Dorothy Joan Fulton, 96, of Plano, Texas died September 6, 2017 in Plano, TX. She was born September 12, 1920 to Amzac C. Ward and Stacia Ward in Chanute, Kansas. She was married to Bill D. Eaton for 32 years, widowed then married to John Fulton for 28 years and widowed in 2000. She was an administrative assistant, Fulton Painting Company, 15 years. She is survived by her daughter, Connie J. Nichols and husband, Paul of Plano, Texas, Jill A. Haufler of Ennis, Texas, Debra T. Brown and husband, Stephen of Leander, Texas and Mavis Fulton and husband, Skip of Mesquite, Texas; sons, Clarke Eaton and wife, Kim of Coppell, Texas, stepsons, Roger Fulton of Mesquite, Texas and Greg Fulton and wife, Cherry; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Bill Eaton, 32 years and John Fulton, 28 years; Brad Fulton Clayton, Mary Alice, Robert Baird and Mave Robinson. She loved her children and grandchildren, play8ing bridge of which she almost played weekly until age 95. She loved all types of cards and dice games; her dogs of which she had many over the years. Dorothy loved her flowers and all types of gardening. She intended to sit on her little bench and plant flowers next spring at age 97. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Chanute, Kansas and also a member of the Plano Garden Club.
