Dorothy Hale's Obituary
Hale, Dorothy “Dot” of Richardson, Texas, passed away October 20, 2009. Born March 16, 1930 in Warren, Pennsylvania to Phillip Maines and Isabel Krumbine. Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, brother, sister and grandson, Christopher Brownlee. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Rudy; sister, Luella (Warren, PA); and her children, Gregory Hale (Dallas), Kathy Brownlee (Richardson), and Kris Walsh (Grapevine); grandchildren, Zachary and Nicole Brownlee (Richardson), Jackson, Thomas, Anna and Sean Walsh (Grapevine). Dorothy was a devoted registered nurse, practicing for 35 years before retiring from Baylor of Garland as Director of Operating Room Services. She was a longtime active member of First Presbyterian Church of Richardson, as well as past President of the Blue Bonnet Club of Richardson. Visitation is October 22, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm, at Restland Funeral Home, 9220 Restland Rd, Dallas. A graveside service will be held on October 23, 10:00 am in Restland Memorial Park with memorial services at 2:00 pm, at First Presbyterian Church of Richardson. Dorothy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.
