Dorothy Mae Hunsucker's Obituary
HUNSUCKER, DOROTHY MAE, Dot was born on August 27 1924, to Fred and Bridget Hoolahan Zilliox. A resident of Rowlett, Texas, she died at Lake Point Hospital early Friday morning, September 14, 2007 and was welcomed into the loving arms of Jesus Christ our Savior. Surviving are her devoted husband, Jack Hunsucker, her loving daughter, Janie Glover and son-in-law DeWayne, grandaughters; Debi Means (Michael), Julie Hobert (Randy) and four precious great grandchildren; Samantha Means, Bradley Hobert, Emily Means, Abigail Hobert, and her only brother, Fred Jackson Zilliox, Jr., (Lily). Other family members include cousins, brothers and sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grand nephews and nieces and a multitude of devoted friends. She is preceded in death by her parents and a young daughter, Frances Mae Hunsucker. She and her husband owned Jack-Son Distributing Company where she served as Vice President for over 20 years and was a strong and dedicated mentor to many young employees who under her tutelage became business entrepreneurs. Her membership at the Mesquite Cumberland Presbyterian Church was a high point in her spiritual life and she served as its treasurer for many years and played a leadership role in the development of the church. This gentle lady, who had the ability to understand friendship, brightened the lives of those around her with a spirit of thanksgiving and had the capacity to create beauty around her, she will be greatly missed by many who love her.
