To God be the glory. Dorothy Carolyn Johnson was born September 24, 1942 in Midland, Texas and passed away from this world to a better place Tuesday morning November 15, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband Roy Johnson, her two sisters, Joann and Kathy, her sons Kevin, Kit and Danny and six grandchildren. She was the very essence of life and brought joy and light with her clever wit and humor. She was a loving wife, nurturing mother and devoted grandmother. Family will receive friends on Thursday, November 17, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held on Friday, November 18, 2011 at 10:30AM at Waterview Church of Christ. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert and Willora Oglesby Foundation or a charity of your preference.
