Dorothy Jane Lutkus' Obituary
Lutkus, Dorothy Jane passed peacefully on January 18, 2013. A Dallas native, Jane attended the Hockaday School for Girls and was an alumni of SMU majoring in journalism. After serving as an editor for Lone Star Gas, she became a homemaker and loving mother. For many years she was a proud member of Zonta, the international organization of executives and professional women, and served her community to support service projects and charitable causes. She was cherished by all who met her for her graciousness and charm. Jane is survived by her husband, Frank, her children, Charles and Laurie, her daughter-in-law, Laurie, her son-in-law, Gary, her grandchildren, Gary, Zandy and Darby, grand daughter-in-law, Brooke and soon to be born great grand daughter and namesake, Dorothy. Visitation will be held Tuesday, January 22 between 6:00 and 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home & Memorial Park at 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 (972-238-7111). A service is scheduled for Wednesday, January 23 at 1:00 PM at the Church of the Transfiguration, 14115 Hillcrest Road, Dallas, TX 75254. Graveside services will be held at Restland.
