MCDERMITT, DOROTHY JEAN (TYLER) Born March 23, 1933 in Wharton County, TX and passed away April 20, 2011 in Rowlett, TX. Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Bob H. McDermitt; son, Randall Edward McDermitt; parents, Oleta and Gilbert Tyler; brother, Kenneth Tyler; grandparents, Charles and Susie Scales and nephew, Dale Tyler. She is survived by her son, Charles Robert McDermitt; sister, Darline Mitchell and husband, Roy; sister-in-law, Nelda Tyler; nephews David and Paul Mitchell and Brandon Tyler. Service will be held at 10:00AM, Friday, April 22, 2011 at Northlake Baptist Church, Garland, TX 75040. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00PM, Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Restland Funeral Home.
