Ms. Dorothy Mae Millar's Obituary
Dorothy was a long time Dallas resident. She was born in Cleburne, Texas, January 7, 1913 and died of natural causes on August 12, 2007 at Richardson Regional Hospital. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert F. Millar and her son, Robert B. Millar. Survivors include her daughter, Jane Jones and husband, Jeff of Dallas; granddaughter, Lori Burklund and husband Troy of Houston; grandson, Michael Jones and wife Annie of Somerville, MA; great grandchildren, Cooper, Sydney and Ella Burklund of Houston and Ruby Jones of Somerville, MA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Dorothy was a dance teacher in Tyler, Texas when she met and married Robert F. Millar, an engineer with sun Oil Co. Dorothy was a long time member of Gaston Oaks Baptist Church and taught exercise class there well into her 80’s.
