Dorothy Tharp Morton's Obituary
Dorothy Tharp Morton passed away Monday, March 14, 2016. She was 100 years young and lived her entire life in Dallas, Texas. Family was always her greatest joy and combining them with 35 years working for Pollock Paper Corporation led a full life. Dorothy is preceded in death by her Son, Michael Franklin Tharp, Houston, and Grandson US Army CWS Officer Michael Forest Tharp, Ft Hood, Texas. She is survived by her husband Charles Morton of Ft. Worth, sister, Margie Chambers, of Richardson, daughter, Vicki Tharp Goldman of Austin, daughter-In-Law, Anita Tharp of Katy, Grandchildren: Shannon Goldman Nagle, Lance Goldman, Kevin Goldman, Ken Gwynne, Meredith Tharp Ray, Monica Tharp Waggoner, and Megan Tharp Jansen. 11 great grandchildren: 8 great, great grandchildren. Interment will be held within the Restland Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Ave., Dallas, TX 75243 at 2:00pm, Saturday, April 2, 2016, Valley View section off Restland Rd. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the Alzheimer Foundation of America (AFA) and/or Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW).
