Dorothy Evelyn Rosenbaum's Obituary
Dorothy was born on August 11, 1920 in Indianapolis and died February 29, 2012. She lived through the Depression as a teenager and the Second World War as a young woman. She married Earl Rosenbaum in 1941, moved to Dallas in 1949, and lived in North Dallas until her death. She worked in the insurance industry and taught literacy as a volunteer. Dorothy and Earl spent their sunset years together dancing; they were long-term members of Dallas’s Let’s Dancers dancing club. Dorothy’s survivors include two twin sons, Stephen, of Flagstaff, Arizona, and Stuart, of Waco, Texas, and 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.
