Dorothy May Sadler's Obituary
SADLER, DOROTHY MAY born April 21, 1919 in Handley, Texas and passed away in her sleep on February 3, 2013 at the age of 93 in Atlanta, GA. She was retired from Dallas County after a 35-year career. She was a 36 year member of The Love Field Chapter or the Order of the Eastern Star (875) where she had held numerous positions which included 3 times Worthy Matron, and Special Representative from the Grand Lodge of Texas to Australia. Widow of Porter Sadler JR. She was preceded in death by nine brother and sisters. Survived by son, Porter Sadler III, Daughter-in-law, Maureen Ann Sadler, and loving grandson, Porter Zachary Sadler IV. One brother, Tommy Beck, along with numerous nieces, nephews, their spouses and children. Family will receive friends on Friday, February 8, 2013 from 6-8 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service will be held at Restland Abbey Chapel on Saturday February 9, 2013 at 12:30 PM. Graveside will follow immediately at Restland Cemetery. In Lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8900 John W Carpenter Fwy, Dallas, TX 75247 or Leukemia Society of America, 8111 LBJ Freeway, Suite 425, Dallas, TX 75251.
