Dorothy M. Smith's Obituary
SMITH, DOROTHY MORGAN, of Dallas, Texas passed away suddenly at her home on April 3, 2008. Dorothy was born in Kensett, Arkansas, on September 13, 1925, the daughter of Luther Thomas Morgan and Mary Whitney Morgan. She was retired from Mobil Oil Corporation, having worked for that company for many years in Little Rock, Arkansas, before marrying Donald Smith of Dallas and transferring there. Mr. Smith preceded her in death. Dorothy was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. She is survived by 3 nephews and 5 nieces and numerous great-nieces and ‘nephews. She also leaves behind special friends Sanny Turner and Mary Thompson of Hemphill, Texas, and Joe and Jeannie Oliver of Dallas. Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 7, 2008 at Restland Abbey Chapel with interment following in Restland Memorial Park.
