Dee was a distant Paternal cousin and though we never met, I knew her grandmother when I was a child. Dee was very helpful in genealogy studies and she kept up with a lot of family on both sides. She was a help in finding distant family. I hope that her family will keep the family tree information going. I knew she liked to play bridge and work in the garden. Condolences to the family. I knew Dee for 28 years, and learned to love her as a friend. Prior to Dee's suffering, which can be very taxing on the body and mind, she could be such a fun person to spend time with, was a very supportive friend, always had concern for her kids, and was a supportive spouse to her husband, Don. She was very connected to nature, as she loved beautiful flowers and loved gardening, and loved to read. She would limit her spending, with hopes of aiding in the future security of her kids, which was very important to her. Dee was always concern about her faith, read the Bible from cover to cover many times, in search of complete understanding of what God expected of her – she prayed daily. I certainly will miss my dear friend, as she was always a phone call away to provide support. Joyce Bradford
