Dorothy Marie West's Obituary
Dorothy Marie West, 81, passed away unexpectedly on Monday January 8, 2007, in Baytown, Texas, where she lived with her niece Patricia Dowell and nephew-in-law Ray Heinrich. Dorothy’s hometown was Dallas; there she worked for a few lucky insurance companies and enjoyed the love of her parents Claud and Beatrice, her many cousins, and, especially, her sister Jerry Hill, who died in 1997. In 1998 Dorothy embarked on a great adventure ‘ she moved to the Washington DC area to live with Patricia, Ray and their poodle Toby, who, to Dorothy’s delight, slept on her bed. They all moved back to Texas a year ago, but Dorothy has left her three friends behind for now.
