Dorothy Jean Wooldridge's Obituary
Wooldridge, Dorothy Jean, passed away on Father’s Day, Sunday, June 17, 2013, in Mesquite, Texas, and stepped into the presence of her loving Heavenly Father. Dorothy was born in Dallas, the daughter of Elmer and Verna Dowdy. She is survived by her three children, Patsy McMillin, Kim and Chris Rorie, Kevin and Jackie Wooldridge; six grandchildren, Brian McMillin, Colin Wooldridge, Grant Wooldridge, Benjamin and Ashley Rorie, Gabrielle and Cheyenne Behrend, and Joshua Rorie; and six great-grandchildren. Dorothy was a devoted loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and faithful in the Lord’s service. She served faithfully for years with the Deaf Ministry at First Baptist Church Dallas with her husband, W. B. Wooldridge, who preceded her to the Lord’s presence on January 26, 1976. The family will receive friends on Thursday, June 20 from 11:00 AM to 12:15 PM at Restland Funeral Home located at 13005 Greenville Avenue., Dallas, Texas, with a memorial service to follow in the Wildwood Chapel at 12:30 PM.
