NICHOLS, DORRIS MAXCINE Of Carrollton, passed away Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at Medical City Dallas. Preceded in death by her parents, Rubert Stevenson and Norma Montgomery; sister, Joy Duffy; brother, Raymond Stevenson; and granddaughters, Karen Hicks and Cindy Houston. Retired as Customer Service Supervisor in ’95 after 25 years with Cameo Couture’s. An avid gardener and plant and flower enthusiast, she also enjoyed doll and stamp collecting, reading, bird and sunset watching. Survived by her 3 daughters, Brenda Cottle, Linda Clack, and Susan Houston and husband John; 1 son, Douglas Taylor and wife Pam; 5 granddaughters, Sonya Hicks, Kim Cottle, Michelle Powell and husband Jim, Caitlin Brown, and Rene Sowder and husband Randall; 3 grandsons, Mark Cottle, Chris Houston and wife Melanie, and Amos Harrison and wife Linda; 10 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Gladys Stevenson and children; and beloved cats, Callie, Bebe Doll, Danny, and Ginger. She was also a member of Webb Chapel United Methodist Church. Remembered for her courage, caring, friendship, and support. She will be greatly missed by her family.
