Dorris Pappas Seale's Obituary
SEALE, DORRIS PAPPAS Went home to the Lord on October 21, 2007. She was born on November 10, 1918, in Ninnekah, OK, and was raised in Okemah, OK, where she graduated from high school before attending the Oklahoma College for Women in Oklahoma City. She was married and moved to Dallas in 1946, and had been a resident of Richardson since 1957. She worked in a variety of jobs, retiring from Guardian Savings & Loan after many years of service. Her love was her family, and she was especially proud of her grandchildren. She is survived by children, Jann Grace Seale and her husband, Dr. Michael Bordo, of Princeton, NJ; Kim Seale and his wife, Laura, of Garland, TX; and by her three dear grandchldren, Mike Powsner, of B rooklyn, NY; Connie Seale, of Toccoa, GA; and John Seale, of Garland. Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 PM, Thursday, October 25, 2007 at Restland Funeral Home. Services will be 2:00 PM, Friday, October 26, 2007 at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 4000 Midway, Carrollton, TX, with interment to follow at Restland Memorial Park, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests contributions to Prince of Peace Missions Scholarship Fund, or the charity of your choice.
