Dortha Ferrell's Obituary
FERRELL, DORTHA of Garland, Texas, passed away October 28, 2010 at the age of 72. Dortha was born in Paris, Texas on January 26, 1938 to Anna and Delma Kyle. She was an alumnus of Texas Tech University where she earned a Bachelor’s of Science in Education in 1959. She was a devoted mother, dedicating the majority of her adult life to raising her two daughters, Nancy and Sue. Dortha was committed to her family, always selflessly offering help to any during trying times. Her faith was the cornerstone to her life, carrying her through many trials. She dealt with many health issues later in life and faced them with remarkable courage and dignity. Dortha is survived by her daughter Nancy Ferrell, daughter Sue Baldor and husband Kevin, mother Anna Kyle, and brother Don Kyle and his wife April. A Memorial Service sill be held at the Restland Wildwood Chapel on Sunday at 3:00 P.M.
