Dortha Wylie Poole's Obituary
Dortha Wylie Poole from Plano, Texas entered the gates of Heaven on January 7, 2021 at the age of 100. Dortha was born on October 4, 1920 to Archie Wylie and Pearl Wylie in Cedar Hill, Texas.
On July 12, 1947 Dortha married the love of her life J. W. Poole. She was a founding member of the Saturn Road Church of Christ and worked as a secretary for 22 years.
Dortha is survived by daughters; Cathy Poole Sherpy, Lisa Poole Witherspoon and son; Don Wylie Poole; Sister Nettie Jo Wylie; 6 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
She is preceded in death by her husband J. W. Poole, brother; L. D. Wylie, sister; Alma Ruth Blackburn and grandson; Clint Poole.
