Douglas Anthony Schultz's Obituary
It is with deep sadness and yet relief I must convey our family’s loss of a great man. Douglas Anthony Schultz left us to join the lord in heaven. A WWWII vet with a gold star, a silver star and eight battle stars, “Little Boats” is now home. He passed away in comfort and sleep, no longer in pain. His fight is over and he won them all but the last. A man of dignity and quiet grace, we shall not see his like again. The family will be a holding a private service. In lieu of flowers we would request that all who wish to honor him please donate to The American Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children‘s Research Hospital . Dad would have preferred that we repay your kindness forward so that others may hopefully find help and comfort while battling his horrible disease. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, at Restland Road, Dallas, TX 75243.
