Gene Douglas Cook's Obituary
Gene Douglas Cook was born in Vinita, Oklahoma on March 10, 1940 and passed away on July 8, 2017, in Plano, Texas. Gene is preceded in death by his wife, Betty Hare Cook; parents, Lloyd and Louise Cook. He leaves his children, Allan Cook, Alyson Hoyle, Tim Cook, Stephanie Hull and Julie McKevlin to cherish his memory. His sisters Carolyn Coukos and Annabelle Hiegel Gene is also survived by aunts, Betty Gordon and Glady Redman; niece, Pamela Coukos; nephew, Stephen Coukos and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Gene retired from the city of Dallas, after retirement he worked for American Eagle. After retiring from American eagle he volunteered at DFW as an Ambassador. He was a loving father, grandfather, and friend to everyone. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 11, 2017, from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Restland Funeral Home. Service for Gene will be held on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 11:00 AM in the Memorial Chapel at Restland Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Restland Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 13005 Greenville Avenue, Dallas, TX 75243.
