Douglas Wayne Lennox's Obituary
Douglas Wayne Lennox left this earth to be home with our Lord on January 13, 2022. Doug was the youngest child of Bobby Wayne Lennox (deceased 7/2/18) and Billie Singleton Lennox.
He is survived by his mother Billie, brother Alan (Diana), sister Glenda Lennox Glomski (Jerry), Nephews Nathan Lennox( Abigail), Cody Lennox (Megan), Nieces Laura Saylor(Andrew), Kelli Chavez (Alex), Great Nephew Hayden Lennox and Great Nieces Breanna & Bailee Chavez, Isabelle Saylor, Avery, Estella and Arabelle Lennox.
Doug was a true die hard Dallas Cowboys and Texas Rangers fan. He loved most all sports. But oh how he loved those Cowboys!
Doug graduated from Bryan Adams High School in 1977 and pursued a career as a barber ultimately owning his own shop in Roanoke, Texas.
He was a hard working Christian man. A consummate professional; extremely talented barber that was loved and respected by all who knew him. Doug was especially gifted with being very gentle and compassionate with his elderly clients.
A wonderful cook himself, Doug had a knack for finding the BEST OF THE BEST in places to eat. He had actually memorized lunch menus for every restaurant in Roanoke!
A Child of God, son, brother, brother in law, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend. He had a big heart and was very generous man. We will always love and miss you, Doug.
If you wish to make a donation in Doug's memory, he would have preferred: St. Jude's, Texas Baptist Men, Texas Baptist Home for Children or your local church.
